The Southern California Orofacial Academy, was founded November 13, 2001. The mission of SCOA is to honor the long history of oral and maxillofacial surgeons existing in Southern California since 1921. SCOA now offers cutting edge educational programs to a greater interdisciplinary dental and academic community and provides the opportunity to gather socially to strengthen regional bonds.
